Write up coming soon. I'm just not in the mood right now. But the photos are beautiful. And the the battlefield and farms and landmarks are all beautiful.
And the men who fought there and died there were brave and fighting for something precious and the thousands wounded, bleeding, dying or risking their lives in incredible displays of heroism where I stood....well, that was real pain and agony and courage. I stood in a sea of wildflowers, full of meloncholy, but realizing my concerns of the day are small compared to the experience of bloody battle.
When the words come, I will write. For now, I just want to sleep.
